Change Center Mentoring is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young aged 11-17 to reach their full potential. Founded by Mr. Duane Thomas, a Police Officer and resident of Forest Park, GA, the group seeks to provide direction, training, accountability, and leadership skills to the youth in the community Through workshops and community service events, the group hopes to make a positive impact and reduce crime rates in the area. As Mr. Thomas says, "If I can help person, then my living not in vain."

Meet Our Founder
Duane Thomas is the Executive Director and Founder of Change Center Mentoring Corporation, a Forest Park, GA-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and guiding them toward becoming successful entrepreneurs and leaders. With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, mentor, and community advocate, Duane has committed his life to shaping the future of his community by instilling values of discipline, accountability, and leadership in the next generation.

A devoted husband and father of five, Duane has a strong foundation in family and faith. As a police officer and ordained elder, he brings a unique perspective to his work, emphasizing the importance of service, integrity, and personal growth. He has lived in Forest Park, where he continues to engage with his community through both his professional and personal endeavors.

Warren Washington, Jr. is the Co-Director of Change Center Mentoring Corporation, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s mission to empower youth and help them become successful entrepreneurs and leaders of tomorrow. A retired Marine Corps veteran, Warren brings over 15 years of mentoring experience to the table, offering valuable insights and leadership to guide young individuals on their journey to success.

As a dedicated father and mentor, Warren is deeply committed to fostering discipline, accountability, and personal growth in the youth he works with. His vision aligns closely with Change Center Mentoring Corporation’s mission—to create a positive, lasting impact on communities by nurturing young people to become productive, responsible citizens who strive for better lives and brighter futures.
